  Very cheap rates and the service was good. Keep in mind that these guys aren't actually at the airport - they have an on-call shuttle service which runs every 10 or so minutes.

  The interior of the car I got was a bit dirty - it was vacuumed, but the seats appeared to have stains on them and the radio touchscreen was covered in fingerprint grease. I'd still hire from these guys again, just because the rates are so good.

  DO NOT HIRE HERE IF: you value your time and expect your time to be valued by companies you pay for services. This service is not at the airport as lead to believe. $3000 bond on cars that are barely worth 5000, or some lies about paying more pretty much just increasing the cost of the hire, I don't like to be lied to when dealing with my own time and money. Phone service with this company almost non existent. Buss drivers seem like nice guys tho.

  We found the Customer Service at East Coast Car Rentals friendly and attentive. We dealt with several people - the driver who collected us from the airport, receptionist who arranged this by phone, the attendant who arranged payment and the person who completed the vehicle inspection with us. Each were welcoming and efficient.

  We experienced excellent and friendly service from East Coast Car Rentals. Right from the start at collection from the airport, the van driver was helpful, friendly, and had a warm and welcoming smile and manner. The vehicle check and pre-use examination was honest and all the existing marks noted, so we wouldn't be in for a rude awakening on vehicle return. We found the company efficient all-round and our vehicle comfortable and modern. We would definitely consider using the same company again in the future. We express appreciation for our positive car hire experience with this company.

  Great value rental cars and excellent customer service. We had to pick the car up earlier than booked and it was organised quickly and easily. All the staff were wonderful and go above and beyond for their customers. Don’t be put off by the fact that you need to shuttle to and from the airport, they’re really close and the shuttle is generally ready to go when you need it. Have used East Coast Car Rentals in Sydney as well as the Gold Coast and I’d never bother going anywhere else.

  The car was clean and very comfortable, all marks were noted in the inspection. The child car seats were immaculate and from a highly regarded brand.
